Monarch Mahedu is a test automation practitioner with more than 10 years of industry experience and a strong focus on AI-powered quality engineering. He works extensively with modern automation tools and agentic AI frameworks, applying them to real-world testing challenges. His recent work centers on designing autonomous testing systems using Jira, Playwright, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, helping teams responsibly adopt AI to improve test creation, execution, and maintenance.

This presentation explores how agentic AI-driven test automation can be practically implemented using Jira Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and Playwright to create autonomous and adaptive testing systems. It introduces a real-world framework built around three AI agents: a Planner that generates test plans from Jira requirements, a Generator that creates and executes Playwright tests, and a Healer that automatically repairs broken UI locators.
Through a sped-up demonstration and implementation insights, attendees will learn how AI can augment test automation and support more resilient, modern quality assurance (QA) practices.
