Predicting the Future - Machine Learning for Testers

Arnika Hryszko and Jarosław Hryszko

Jaroslaw used to say about himself as a quality assurance hipster in IT – he tested software before it became fashionable. He specializes in the use of the latest technologies there, especially artificial intelligence mechanisms. He willingly shares his knowledge as a trainer and consultant. He also has extensive experience in management, including commanding military units. He studied (successfully) cybernetics, electronics and nuclear power.

Alex is a senior QA engineer and open source Python hacker with 12+ years of experience. He loves everything open source, public speaking, cooking with wine and riding fast motorcycles! Alex is the project lead behind Kiwi TCMS – the leading open source test case management system.

Justas Laužadis works as Lead Test Engineer at Devbridge. He has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics at Vilnius University, Faculty of Physics. He says that his background in math, physics and statistics helped a lot when switching to IT sector. Currently, he has 5+ years of expertise in testing field.

Marcel Veselka has spent his career in software testing and currently he is working as a Principal SW Testing Consultant at Tesena. Previously, he worked as a Test Analyst and finally moved to Test Management in complex transformation projects and core banking implementations covering mainly integration testing and performance testing. He is also former vice-president of the CaSTB (regional ISTQB board) and co-founder of testing community called [pro]Test!.
